2016-17
Liv
played up on the 7th grade team and had a strong season. Playing guard, she was third on the team in
assists and led the team with a 32% shooting percentage from the field. She played strong defense and provided very
active play on the boards. She was
second on the team in steals in the Fall season. For her combined two teams she
scored over 390 points.
2015-16 Highlights
Liv joined the 6th grade team as a part timer in
the winter season, but earned full-time status with her strong play. Had 65 rebounds while playing mostly guard. Led guards in rebounding in the St. Rose

2016-17
Rayna played up on the 7th grade team and led the
team in scoring and was second in steals.
She was 7-13 (54%) from three point range. She led the team with 36 points in the 3 game
Philipsburg Shootout. Her highest
scoring game was 15 points. She was a
constant outside threat that expanded her game this year with improved passing
and driving. For her combined two teams
she scored over 400 points.
2015-16 Highlights
Rayna completed her 2nd year as a Legend and
played on the 6th grade team as a 5th grader. She was 3rd on the team in scoring
(146 points), second in foul shooting percentage, and tie for third in 3
pointers. Had 13 points in one game in

2016-17
“Sunshine”, one of the four original members of her team, played
in the fall season for the Legends, finishing her 5th year as a
Legend. She finished second on the team in rebounds, first in
offensive rebounds and second in blocked shots despite several games.
Her best game was against Altoona when she had 4 points, 5 rebounds, 3
blocked shots and 2 steals. 2015-16 HighlightsLayla “Sunshine” Thornton completed her 4th year as a Legend. She was third on the team in rebounds (181), was second in defensive rebounds, and led the team in blocked shots (38) despite missing 9 games. Led posts in assits. 2017
Sammie returned to the Legends with force for the spring
season after sitting out one year because she was above the age limit, and
picked up where she left off. She had 6
assists and 17 points in the 4 game NEPA shootout while playing PG and wing, shooting
32% from the field. She had 10 assists and 3 steals in the 3 game Philipsburg
Shootout. She led the team in assists and
shooting percentage in the spring season
and had 26 points.
