Emma Soyster

Emma completed her first year as a Legend after joining the team for the Spring season.  Emma came up to speed quickly and had her first big impact in the Scranton Spring Shootout where she had 18 rebounds in the 4 games.  She had a huge basket late in the team’s OT victory in that shootout.  She finished the spring with 47 rebounds and 13 points.

Eliana Vinca


Eliana completed her second year as a Legend.  She played on the White Team and Blue Team.  Eliana can play inside and out, and has turned into a dynamic player that is often the focus of the opponents defense.

2023-24

Eliana developed into a top player in the Fall and played a major role on the Blue and White teams in the Spring.  In the Fall she led her team in rebounds (44), points (77) and blocked shots (13) and was second in steals (10).  She scored a game high 16 points in the Red Bank Valley tournament where she had double digit points in all three games.  In the Spring she transitioned to guard and had 24 assists, 142 rebounds (first in the program), 42 steals, and 39 blocks (1st in program) and 218 points (1st in program).  She had important plays in the Blue Team Championship in the Scranton Slamfest and hit a game winning buzzer beater in her team’s thrilling OT win in the State College Tournament.  In her career Eliana has 53 assists, 406 rebounds, 143 steals, 116 blocked shots and 499 points


2022-23

Eliana was second on the team in scoring (155 points) and rebounds (179) and was third in steals with 79.  She led the team in blocked shots with 59.  She had the team’s only triple-double vs. Mifflin County.  Her scoring skills blossomed in the winter season.  Scored a season high 16 points in a playoff win over Dubois.  Had a great Scranton shootout scoring 26 points and averaging 5 blocks per game.  She was instrumental in the press break.

In three tournaments in the Spring she had 18 points, 7 assists and 31 rebounds.  She had a strong Lewisburg March Madness tournament finishing second on the team in rebounds (20), points (16) and tying for a team high 5 assists.  

In her combined seasons she had 210 rebounds, 173 points and 64 blocked shots.

Brighid "Hot Dog" Duffy


Brighid completed her second year as a Legend. She developed into an important contributor and drastically increased her scoring.

2023-24

Brighid was a solid contributor during the season showing a command of the offense and showing her scoring ability.  In the Spring was she often the first player off the bench and greatly increased her output scoring 13 points including her first career three pointer.  In her career she has 17 steals and 25 points.



2022-23

Brighid brought spirit and spunk to the Legends.  She found herself in the middle of many big plays during the season including having a key assist in a win at the Scranton Shootout. She tripled her rebounding and steal totals from the Fall season to the Winter Season.  As the youngest player on the team she had to earn her minutes.  She made major contributions in the 2nd place finish at the Lewisburg Fall Festival tournament and the Scranton Spring Shootout where she scored late in the last game to excite the crowd.

Emma Kaniecki


Emma completed her second year as a Legend. She is a strong player on defense and the boards, and added a consistent three pointer to compliment her strong drives on offense.

 

2023-24

Emma had a strong Fall season and developed into an inside and outside scoring threat.  She was second on her team in assists (14) and third in rebounds (23), steals (10), and points (38).  She was also third in three pointers with 8.  She had a great Red Bank Valley tournament where she averaged 7 points per game, had 3 3-pointers and led the team in assists averaging over 3 per game.  In the Spring she played in the State College Tournament and had 14 points, including three 3-pointers in the 4 game set.  In her career she has 43 assists, 138 rebounds, 82 steals and 194 points including 11 three pointers.



2022-34

Emma was third on the team in scoring (142 points), and rebounds (103).  Emma had 13 points in a victory over Beck’s in the Fall JMC League.  She also had 69 steals.  She had 14 points and three 3-pointers in a big win over Tyrone in the Moshannon Valley Winter League.  Emma extended her shooting range as the season went on hitting five three pointers during the winter season.

Kacie Kempf


Kacie completed her second year as a Legend.  Kacie transitioned to point guard this year and became a consistent threat to score.

 

2023-24

Kacie missed some games early in early Fall, but steadily picked up steam and added point guard to her resume showing solid ball handling under pressure and playmaking ability.  She had a strong Red Bank Valley tournament, dishing out 3 assists in the consolation game victory.  Kacie became a complete player in the Spring having a huge impact on offense and defense. She led her team in assists, rebounds, and steals in the Mother’s Day Shootout in Scranton, and was second in scoring.  She finished the Spring with 25 assists, 53 rebounds, 23 steals and 70 points including 6 three pointers.  In her career she has 59 assists, 95 rebounds, 58 steals and 111 points.



2022-23

Kacie developed from a role player early in the year into a key part of the guard rotation in the winter season.  Her intense defense often made a difference in games and as the season progressed her offense became a weapon as well.  She finished the season 4th on the team with 25 assists.  She also had 33 points and 29 steals.  Had a strong Scranton Shootout when her defense turned a game around for the Legends, and had a season high 8 points in a victory over NEPA NXT.

Elise "The Beast" Bechtel


Elise completed her third year as a Legend.  She is now a top point guard that can both setup her teammates and stun defenses with long three pointers. She played for the White Team and the Blue Team.

2023-24

Elise became the floor general and an offensive threat with her defense, offense and point guard play. In the Fall season she led her team in assists (16), steals (24) and three pointers (4), and was second in blocked shots (11) and points (56).  She had a great Red Bank Valley tournament, averaging more than 9 points per game and 3 assists per game.  She was instrumental in her team’s championship run in the Scranton Slamfest.  In the Spring she was third in the program with 130 points, second in assists with 32 and led the team with 20 three pointers.  She had a huge three pointer late in OT to tie the game in her team’s victory in the State College tournament. In her career she has 101 assists, 162 rebounds,145 rebounds, 30 three pointers and 313 points.



2022-23

Elise led her team in assists (48), was fourth in scoring (123 points), and tied for first in steals (85).  She also grabbed over 80 rebounds and blocked 24 shots.  She was second on the team in three pointers with 6.  Elise had great success against the Storm hitting the go ahead layup in the final moments of the Legends first victory over them and scoring a team high 8 in the playoffs.  She had an outstanding Scranton shootout scoring 21 points.

Juliet "Violet" Jones


Juliet completed her second year as a Legend. She has become a top rebounder and interior defender.

2023-24

Juliet had a strong Fall season.  She was second on the team in rebounds (28) and scored 13 points on the season.  She scored in all three games of the Red Bank Valley tournament including a season high 6 points in the consolation game victory.  In the Spring season Juliet had 104 rebounds to lead the White team to go with 25 points.  She led the team in rebounding in almost every league and tournament she played. She had a huge offensive rebound that led to a three pointer in her team’s OT victory in the Scranton Spring Shootout.  She has 185 rebounds in her career and 66 points.



2022-23

Juliet is an excellent team defender and is an effective rebounder and scorer around the basket.  She is always in the right place and has great hands. She also helps on the press break with her fast decisions.  She finished the year with 53 rebounds, 12 assists and 28 points. She was third on the team in shooting percentage.  She scored 6 points in the Scranton Shootout and had a career-high 7 against Mifflin County.

Shae "Stadium" Dwyer


Shae completed her second year as a Legend.  She played for both the White and Blue teams in the Spring.  She has developed into a strong point guard that can handle the ball and score.

2023-24

Shae played an abbreviated season for the White team in the Fall, but also played in the White Rose Shootout for the Blue Team.  In the spring she played for both the Blue and White teams and excelled at point guard.  Overall, she had 32 assists, 28 steals and 70 points on the season.  Her scoring improved dramatically from the Fall season to the Spring season as she scored on drives and mid-range jumpers.  She had 14 points in the Scranton Slamfest which helped her team capture the championship.  In her career she has 79 assists, 80 steals and 89 points.



2022-23

Shae joined the team at the end of the Fall season and worked her way into the rotation at point guard and the three-guard very quickly.  She is an excellent ball handler who can weave through traffic to find players in transition for good scoring opportunities.  In the half-court offense she is active on the boards and moves the ball well. Shae finished second on the team with 47 assists, grabbed 62 rebounds and had 42 steals to go with 19 points.  She led the team with 11 assists and 10 steals in the Scranton Shootout and led the team with 18 assists in the Moshannon Valley Winter League.

Kylee "Killer" Collins

Kylee is in her second year as a Legend


2023-24

Kylee was a strong presence in the paint for the Legends and set key screens on offense to set her teammates up for shots.  She had 13 rebounds and 9 points on the season.   Her biggest basket of the season was late in the last game of the season to help the Legends pull out the victory in the consolation game of the Red Bank Valley tournament.  Kylee has 85 rebounds and 33 points in her career.


2022-23

Kylee grabbed 60 of her 72 rebounds in the winter/spring season. Kylee scored 24 points on the season as she developed as inside game and started to pull down offensive rebounds.  On defense Kylee defended the paint and was a vocal leader on the court calling out cutters and open players.  She had a season high 8 rebounds against Dubois.

Eliza Stover

Eliza completed her first year as a Legend. She made important contributions during her debut season with the Legends.  She had 7 assists, 28 rebounds, and 13 points on the season.  She had 3 assists in the Red Bank Valley Tournament and 5 rebounds in the Scranton Mother’s Day Shootout.  She became a solid player as the season progressed and increased her productivity in every dimension in the Spring season.

Iksha Singla

Iksha completed her first year as a Legend.  She used her speed to make contributions on defense for the Legends.  Iksha steadily improved as the year went on increasing every statistical category from the spring season to the Spring season.

Everley "Cuz" Wendle


Everley completed her first year as a Legend. She used her quickness to play a key defensive role for the Legends and improved steadily on offense to become an outside scoring threat.  After scoring 4 points in the winter season Everley had 27 points in the spring season including 5 three pointers which was third on her team.  Everley had a huge assist on the game winning basket in the State College Tournament to end the season.
