Deseray Mobley

Deseray “Iceman” Mobley made a smooth transition to guard this season showing her versatility. She completed her third season as a Legend. Deseray has 176 rebounds, 141 points, 35 blocked shots, and 186 steals, all first on her team.

2020-21

Deseray played in 8 games and had an overall outstanding season. Deseray has worked hard to develop her skills to go with her speed. She led her team in scoring with 33 points, steals with 31 and blocked shots with 10. Deseray is a disruptive force on defense and loves to fast break. She led guards in rebounds with 38 and had 4 assists. Deseray scored in every game but one. Her game high was 7 points, and she scored 6 points twice.

2019-20

Deseray led her team in points (79), was second in rebounds (80) and second in steals (101). Led her team with 20 points, scoring in all games of the Little Cats Holiday Tournament. Led her team in scoring and steals in the JMC Winter League. She transitioned from post to guard as the season progressed playing all 5 positions. Deseray is an aggressive defender and has the ability to create her own shot. In her career, Deseray has 108 points, 138 rebounds and 155 steals.

2018-19

Deseray Mobley played post and guard and bought speed and aggression to the floor. She led the team in rebounds with 58, was second in steals with 54 and was tied for third in scoring with 29 points. Led the team with 7 made free throws shooting 44% from the line. Had 10 rebounds in semi-final win. Had 11 points in victory over PO.

Natalie Huggins is a strong playmaker and defender. She completed her third year as a Legend. In her career she has 77 rebounds and 11 assists which is 5th on her team.

Mira Coble is a floor leader at point guard and is a very well-rounded player. She completed her third year as a Legend. Mira has 105 points (2nd on her team) and 18 assists (3rd on her team) in her career.

2020-21

Mira played in 2 games in the outdoor double header in Lewistown. Mira played point guard both games and showed great poise running the offense despite playing up one year. Mira was perfect from the foul line and had a beautiful pass leading to a layup for a teammate.

Ally Swauger is a well-rounded player and has the ability to play all 3 guard positions. She is a stellar defender. She finished her third year as a Legend. Ally has 25 assists (first on her team), 153 rebounds (2nd), 143 steals (2nd), and 65 points in her career.

2020-21

Ally played three games and has developed into a fine point guard. Her speed, quickness and aggressiveness make her an outstanding defender. She moves the ball well on offense and uses the entire court. In the 3 game Spring Shootout in Scranton Ally was second on her team in assists, and led her team with 13 steals to go with 15 rebounds to lead all guards. Ally worked hard throughout the season at practice to improve her ball handling with both hands.

2020-21

Natalie played in 8 games and was the team’s primary inbounder. Natalie had 3 assists and 18 rebounds and played exceptional help defense. Natalie led the team in shooting percentage at 30% and scored 6 points. Her strongest game was against JB Hoops in the Easter Shootout in Scranton when she had 2 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 points scoring on her only shot attempt. Natalie was instrumental at breaking the press all season.

Natalie was 4th on the team in assists (8), all coming during the winter season as she developed her passing skills. She tripled her rebounding total from her first season finishing with 42. Natalie had a knack for grabbing offensive rebounds and hitting put backs. She used her strength to box out bigger players and stop drives to the basket. She was third on the team in rebounding during the winter JMC season. Had a strong Little Cats Winter Tournament with 2 assists and 2 points. Had 8 points on the season.

Mira led her team in shooting percentage (24%) and was tied for second on the team in assists (16) and was second in scoring (53 pts). She uses both her left and right hands to score and make plays. She had 12 points against Mifflin County in the Little Cats Holiday Tournament on 6/10 shooting. She was 2nd in assists and 3rd in steals in the JMC Winter League and tied for the most points in the JMC 5th Grade Fall League. She finished with 51 rebounds and 41 steals on the season. For her career Mira has 103 points, 103 rebounds, 70 steals and 17 assists.

Ally used her athleticism to create steals on defense and her court vision to create scoring opportunities for her teammates. She led the team in assists (19), steals (102) and offensive rebounds (44). She finished 3rd on the team in rebounds (81). Ally developed into a point guard during the season. She led the team with 21 foul shot attempts. Had a strong Lewistown March Madness Tournament including 8 points and 5 steals against Huntingdon. She finished the season with 35 points. In her career Allie has 130 steals, 138 rebounds, 23 assists and 64 points.

2018-19

Mira Coble had a stellar first season playing both post and guard. She was second on the team in assists with 6, 4th in rebounds with 52, 4th on the team in steals with 26 and 2nd in scoring with 50 points. Developed into a strong ball handler with both hands. Had the game winning basket in the semi-final win in which she had 4 points and 6 rebounds. Had 10 points in victory over the Hot Shots.

Natalie Huggins transitioned from post to guard as the season progressed and was the primary inbounder. Natalie became a strong help defender using her size to disrupt drives to the basket and became more sure handed as the season went on. She had 5 rebounds in the two playoff games. Scored a huge basket in a victory in the Juniata Valley YMCA March Madness.

2018-19

Ally Swauger played post and was a big presence in the paint on offense and defense. She was 4th on the team in scoring with 29 points, second in rebounding with 57 and third in steals with 28. Ally ran the pick and roll very effectively and was very active on defense. Game high was 6 points. Grabbed the final rebound to clinch the semi-final victory. Led the team in offensive rebounds with 39.

Katherine Savitski

Nora Marsh is a well-rounded post player who can score inside or outside. She completed her 2nd year as a Legend. Nora has 30 blocked shots (2nd on her team), 133 rebounds (3rd on her team) and 44 career points.

2020-21

Nora played in 5 games and was second on her team in offensive rebounds with 23. She scored in every game she played, finishing with 12 points. She was third on her team overall with 41 rebounds and was second with 7 blocked shots. Nora had a season high 14 rebounds against JB Hoops in the Easter Shootout in Scranton. She has developed into a strong post player with nice moves around the basket and a smooth mid-range jumper.

Victoria Witmer is an experienced point guard with strong ball handing and playmaking skills, and is always cool under pressure. She finished her third year as a Legend. She has 21 assists (2nd on her team), 46 steals and 30 points in her career.

2020-21

Victoria played 7 games and continued to develop into a strong playmaker. Victoria played point guard and had a knack for finding the open player with perfect passes. She is a selfless player that looks to find her teammates for scoring opportunities. She led her team in assists with 9. She also had 9 steals and 20 rebounds. She had a season high 3 assists in the opening game of the year. She had 3 steals in a game twice.

Ruby Weight is an offensive and defensive threat at the post who makes her presence felt on the court. She completed her third year as a Legend. Ruby has 124 rebounds, 25 blocked shots (3rd on her team) and 44 career points.

2020-21

Ruby played 8 games with the Legends. She was second on her team in rebounds with 44 and led her team in defensive rebounds. Ruby was a strong player inside boxing out and playing defense. She blocked 4 shots and grabbed 9 steals on the season and scored 19 points. Ruby was a remarkably consistent player scoring 6 points twice and grabbing at least 5 rebounds in all games but two. She had a season high 9 rebounds in the Spring Shootout in Scranton.

Katherine “Special K” Savitski is a strong perimeter player. She finished her second year as a Legend. Katherine has 22 points and 35 steals in her career.

2020-21

Katherine played in 5 games. Katherine made huge strides through her hard work at practices throughout the year. She scored 10 points and made almost 30% of her shots, good for second on the team. She was also second on the team with 5 assists. Katherine is a strong player and had 22 rebounds and 11 steals which was third on the team. Her best game came in the Easter Shootout in Scranton when she had 4 points, 4 rebounds and 5 steals. Her game high was 6 points.

2019-20

Katherine’s contribution steadily increased as the season went on. She excelled in the winter shootout and spring tournament. She had 4 points in the Philipsburg Winter Shootout including a beautiful left-handed move. She had 6 points and 2 assists in the Lewistown March Madness tournament. Overall she shot 20% from the floor. Katherine finished the season with 12 points and 24 steals.

Nora led her team in blocked shots (23) and foul shooting percentage, hitting 60% from the charity stripe. She was second on her team in rebounds (92) and offensive rebounds (40), which often led to her trips to the foul line. She led her team in rebounds and blocked shots in the 5th grade Fall season. Nora is a strong defensive player, protecting the paint to help her teammates while covering the other team’s post players. She had 6 points in the Lewistown March Madness Tournament and had a season high 5 points against Clearfield. Had 32 points on the season.

Victoria was tied for second on her team in assists (16). While she focused mainly on moving the ball to open teammates she could score when her team needed her. She had 6 points in the Lewistown March Madness Tournament. She had an exceptional Little Cats Holiday Tournament with 8 points and 4 assists, including 4 points in the championship game. Had 3 assists in the Philipsburg Fall Shootout. Finished the season with 22 points. In her career has 21 assists, 56 rebounds, 48 steals and 30 points.

Ruby was an outstanding interior defender lending support to her teammates while defending the paint. She grabbed 71 rebounds and was 3rd on her team in blocked shots (21). She was second on her team in rebounds during the JMC Winter league. Had a big impact in shootouts and tournaments. Had 6 points in the Lewistown March Madness Tournament, had 11 rebounds (2nd on the team) in the Philipsburg Fall Shootout, and had a huge basket in the semi-finals of the Little Cats Holiday Tournament. Ruby now has 80 rebounds in her career.

Victoria Witmer played all three guard positions and used both the left and right side of the court. She was a sure handed defender grabbing 14 steals and 16 rebounds. She also handed out 5 assists for fourth best on the team. Had an assist and 3 rebounds in the semi-final win. Had 4 second half points in exciting tie at the JMC leading the team in a 9 point comeback. Made first lefty layup for the team.

Ruby Weight made steady progress during the season and became a force on the inside. Ruby developed her boxing out technique and helped seal the inside for rebounds. She was also an aggressive help defender. Had 2 rebounds in a victory over the Hot Shots and a particularly strong defensive game against Tyrone in a tough loss.

Elin Fry

Payton Williams joined the Legends late in the 2019-20 season and just completed her first full year. She is a very strong post player who scores around the basket. She has 74 rebounds and 35 points in her career.

2020-21

Payton played 8 games and saw her hard work during the off season payoff. She played up and led her team in rebounds with 54 and offensive rebounds with 32. Payton was second on her team in scoring with 31 points and was second in shooting percentage. She is a very accurate shooter around the basket with both hands. Had a dominating Easter Shootout in Scranton, scoring 28 points in 3 games while shooting almost 40%, including season high 16 points in the opening game.

Hayden Lintal made her debut with the Legends in the Spring Shootout in Scranton. Hayden scored 4 points in her first game and had an overall strong performance. She had 11 rebounds on the year which was second among guards and also had 4 steals. Hayden is an aggressive player.

2020-21

Landry Moore made her debut with the Legends and played in 8 games. Landry worked hard to learn the offense and her teammates. She had 12 points, 21 rebounds and 7 steals on the season. She scored in all 3 games of the Easter Shootout in Scranton including a season high 4 points in the second game. Landry has a nice jump shot and was a perfect 2-2 from the foul line. She played all three guard positions.

2020-21

Elin Fry joined the Legends late and played in the last two games of the season. Elin has good instincts and made a splash in her first game scoring 3 points and grabbing a team high 7 steals. Elin will work hard to learn the Legend offense to earn more playing time next year.

2019-20

Payton had a strong Philipsburg Winter Shootout in her first games as a Legend. She had 4 points, 11 rebounds (leading her team) and 2 assists. She had 6 rebounds in the championship game of the Lewistown March Madness Tournament. Payton finished the season with 20 rebounds and 4 points.
