Kacie Kempf

Kacie completed her fourth year as a Legend.  Kacie plays all three guard positions and is valued for her defense and scoring.

2025-26

Kacie had over 230 points this season and has 462 in her career. She hit 52 three-pointers and is moving up the all-time career list.  She had several big games, including the victory in the Championship game in Scranton when she 4 consecutive three pointers to blow the game open. 

2024-25

Kacie had a strong White Rose Shootout scoring in every game and grabbing 5 steals.  In the Fall league she had double digit rebounds and scored 23 points including two three-pointers.  In the Spring Kacie was second on the team with 48 assists to go with 99 points.  In her career Kacie now has over 150 rebounds, 100 steals, 110 assists and 230 points.

2023-24

Kacie missed some games early in early Fall, but steadily picked up steam and added point guard to her resume showing solid ball handling under pressure and playmaking ability.  She had a strong Red Bank Valley tournament, dishing out 3 assists in the consolation game victory.  Kacie became a complete player in the Spring having a huge impact on offense and defense. She led her team in assists, rebounds, and steals in the Mother’s Day Shootout in Scranton, and was second in scoring.  She finished the Spring with 25 assists, 53 rebounds, 23 steals and 70 points including 6 three pointers. 

2022-23

Kacie developed from a role player early in the year into a key part of the guard rotation in the winter season.  Her intense defense often made a difference in games and as the season progressed her offense became a weapon as well.  She finished the season 4th on the team with 25 assists.  She also had 33 points and 29 steals.  Had a strong Scranton Shootout when her defense turned a game around for the Legends, and had a season high 8 points in a victory over NEPA NXT.

Eliana Vinca

Eliana completed her fourth year as a Legend.  Eliana plays all five positions and is a focal point of the opponent’s defense.

2025-26

Eliana scored over 240 points, had 30 blocked shots and 55 assists.  She led her team in steals with 37 in the Spring. She shot over 37% from three point range.  Eliana scored her 1,000 career point in Scranton when the team won the championship.   She averaged over 10 ppg in the two Scranton Championships.

2024-25

Eliana had a strong Fall season continuing her scoring but also showing off her play making ability.  She led her team in scoring and assists at the White Rose Tournament scoring a season high of 17 points in the second game.  In the Spring she led her team in assists with 59, steals with 65 and blocks with 38.  In her career Eliana now has 830 points, 500 rebounds, 252 steals and 160 blocked shots.

2023-24

Eliana developed into a top player in the Fall and played a major role on the Blue and White teams in the Spring.  In the Fall she led her team in rebounds (44), points (77) and blocked shots (13) and was second in steals (10).  She scored a game high 16 points in the Red Bank Valley tournament where she had double digit points in all three games.  In the Spring she transitioned to guard and had 24 assists, 142 rebounds (first in the program), 42 steals, and 39 blocks (1st in program) and 218 points (1st in program).  She had important plays in the Blue Team Championship in the Scranton Slamfest and hit a game winning buzzer beater in her team’s thrilling OT win in the State College Tournament. 

2022-23

Eliana was second on the team in scoring (155 points) and rebounds (179) and was third in steals with 79.  She led the team in blocked shots with 59.  She had the team’s only triple-double vs. Mifflin County.  Her scoring skills blossomed in the winter season.  Scored a season high 16 points in a playoff win over Dubois.  Had a great Scranton shootout scoring 26 points and averaging 5 blocks per game.  She was instrumental in the press break.

In three tournaments in the Spring she had 18 points, 7 assists and 31 rebounds.  She had a strong Lewisburg March Madness tournament finishing second on the team in rebounds (20), points (16) and tying for a team high 5 assists.  

In her combined seasons she had 210 rebounds, 173 points and 64 blocked shots.

Juliet "Violet" Jones

Juliet completed her fourth year as a Legend. She is the team's leading rebounder and has developed into a strong playmaker.

2025-26

Juliet once again led her team in offensive rebounds in both the Fall and Spring seasons and had 30 assists from the post.  She is closing in on 100 career assist and has over 460 career rebounds.  He play-making from the post is a key element to the team's offense. 

2024-25

In the Fall league Juliet was second on the team in assists and rebounds, leading the team in offensive rebounds.  Overall in the Fall she led the team in rebounds.  In the Spring she had 35 assists and 113 rebounds. In her career Juliet now has over 350 rebounds and 100 points.

2023-24

Juliet had a strong Fall season.  She was second on the team in rebounds (28) and scored 13 points on the season.  She scored in all three games of the Red Bank Valley tournament including a season high 6 points in the consolation game victory.  In the Spring season Juliet had 104 rebounds to lead the White team to go with 25 points.  She led the team in rebounding in almost every league and tournament she played. She had a huge offensive rebound that led to a three pointer in her team’s OT victory in the Scranton Spring Shootout. 

2022-23

Juliet is an excellent team defender and is an effective rebounder and scorer around the basket.  She is always in the right place and has great hands. She also helps on the press break with her fast decisions.  She finished the year with 53 rebounds, 12 assists and 28 points. She was third on the team in shooting percentage.  She scored 6 points in the Scranton Shootout and had a career-high 7 against Mifflin County.

Emma Kaniecki

Emma completed her fourth year as a Legend. She is a strong player on defense and the boards, and added a consistent three pointer to compliment her strong drives on offense.

2025-26

Emma had her spring season cut short but still scored 90 points across the spring and fall.  She now has over 400 points in her career.  Emma was enjoying a strong spring season using her strength to score on three pointers and rives to the basket.

2024-25

Emma had a strong Fall season.  She had double digits rebounds and steals and hit three three-pointers.  She finished the season with 34 points.  In the Spring she had 84 points and hit 11 three pointers.  In her career Emma has over 175 rebounds, 100 steals and 300 points.  

2023-24

Emma had a strong Fall season and developed into an inside and outside scoring threat.  She was second on her team in assists (14) and third in rebounds (23), steals (10), and points (38).  She was also third in three pointers with 8.  She had a great Red Bank Valley tournament where she averaged 7 points per game, had 3 3-pointers and led the team in assists averaging over 3 per game.  In the Spring she played in the State College Tournament and had 14 points, including three 3-pointers in the 4 game set. 

2022-34

Emma was third on the team in scoring (142 points), and rebounds (103).  Emma had 13 points in a victory over Beck’s in the Fall JMC League.  She also had 69 steals.  She had 14 points and three 3-pointers in a big win over Tyrone in the Moshannon Valley Winter League.  Emma extended her shooting range as the season went on hitting five three pointers during the winter season.

Amelia KAT Zobrist

Amelia Zobrist completed her second  year as a Legend.  

2025-26

Amelia led her team in rebounding in both the Fall and Spring seasons with over 150 total as she developed into a powerful inside force for the Legends.   She scored 135 points and developed into a fine play-maker picking up 21 assists in the Spring.  She has 236 points in her two-year Legends career.

2024-25

Amelia played for both the Blue Team and White Team in the Fall.  Amelia led the White team in scoring 27 points and was second in rebounding with 39.  She also led her team in steals with 11.  In the Spring she was second on the team with 123 rebounds and scored 69 points.  Overall she had over 100 points and 170 rebounds.

Elise "The Beast" Bechtel

Elise completed her 5th  year as a Legend.  She can setup her teammates and stun defenses with long three pointers.

2025-26

Elise scored 211 points and had a team high 59 assists across the Fall and Spring. She was second on the team with 77 rebounds and 13 blocked shots.  She scored on an array of outside shots, floaters and layups. She had a season game high 23 points.  She now has 831 career points and 213 career assists.

2024-25

Elise had a strong Fall season.  She finished second on the team in scoring and steals in the White Rose Tournament and was tied for the team lead in assists.  In the Spring she had 46 assists and 248 points, second on the team.  She led the team with 23 three pointers.  In her career Elise has 154 assists, 209 steals, 58 (1st all-time) three pointers and 620 points.

2023-24

Elise became the floor general and an offensive threat with her defense, offense and point guard play. In the Fall season she led her team in assists (16), steals (24) and three pointers (4), and was second in blocked shots (11) and points (56).  She had a great Red Bank Valley tournament, averaging more than 9 points per game and 3 assists per game.  She was instrumental in her team’s championship run in the Scranton Slamfest.  In the Spring she was third in the program with 130 points, second in assists with 32 and led the team with 20 three pointers.  She had a huge three pointer late in OT to tie the game in her team’s victory in the State College tournament.

2022-23

Elise led her team in assists (48), was fourth in scoring (123 points), and tied for first in steals (85).  She also grabbed over 80 rebounds and blocked 24 shots.  She was second on the team in three pointers with 6.  Elise had great success against the Storm hitting the go ahead layup in the final moments of the Legends first victory over them and scoring a team high 8 in the playoffs.  She had an outstanding Scranton shootout scoring 21 points.

Shae "SGA" Dwyer

Shae completed her fourth year as a Legend.  She is a great playmaker who is  a scoring threat on drives to the basket.

2025-26

Shae played a limited schedule but had a big impact on the team.  She used her speed and quickness on both offense and defense.  Shae was second on the team in steals in the Spring season and grabbed a career high 10 rebounds in a game at Spooky Nook. Shae has 230 career points and over 160 career assists.

2024-25

Shae showed her full versatility this fall.  She had a career high 12 rebounds in a game at the White Rose Shootout.  At White Rose she had 8 assists, 17 rebounds, 10 steals (all team highs) and 15 points.  Overall in the Fall she was tied for the team lead in assists (16) and steals (21), and had 41 points  In the Spring 42 assists and 71 points.  In her career she has 137 assists, 123 steals and 201 points.

2023-24

Shae played an abbreviated season for the White team in the Fall, but also played in the White Rose Shootout for the Blue Team.  In the spring she played for both the Blue and White teams and excelled at point guard.  Overall, she had 32 assists, 28 steals and 70 points on the season.  Her scoring improved dramatically from the Fall season to the Spring season as she scored on drives and mid-range jumpers.  She had 14 points in the Scranton Slamfest which helped her team capture the championship. 

2022-23

Shae joined the team at the end of the Fall season and worked her way into the rotation at point guard and the three-guard very quickly.  She is an excellent ball handler who can weave through traffic to find players in transition for good scoring opportunities.  In the half-court offense she is active on the boards and moves the ball well. Shae finished second on the team with 47 assists, grabbed 62 rebounds and had 42 steals to go with 19 points.  She led the team with 11 assists and 10 steals in the Scranton Shootout and led the team with 18 assists in the Moshannon Valley Winter League.

Brooklyn Bence

Brooklyn completed her second year as a Legend.

2025-26

Brooklyn was an important part of the guard rotation.  Brooklyn provided intense, physical defense throughout the spring season.  She had her best game in the ABFE shootout in Lewisburg, scoring 5 points. Brooklyn has over 50 points in her two year career. 

2024-25

In the Spring of 2024-25 she earned more playing time as the season progressed finishing as a dangerous scoring threat.  She finished the Spring with 29 points.

Ellie Markle

Ellie completed her second year as a Legend.  

2025-26

Ellie returned to the Legends for Spring season and had a huge impact on the team.  She used her strength and quickness on offense and defense. Ellie had 70 rebounds and 92 points in the Spring and shot 54% from three-point range.  Ellie is closing in on 200 career points.

2023-24

She was a force in the paint for the Legends all year.  After scoring 33 points and grabbing 33 rebounds (2nd on the team) in the Fall, she raised her game to another level in the Spring.  She was 1st or 2nd on her team in rebounding in almost tournament and finished with 70 points and 84 rebounds in the Spring.  She was also second on her team in blocks.  On the season Ellie had 177 rebounds and 103 points.

Sydney "Syd Vicious" Mikesic

Syd completed her 6th year as a Legend.  She is a high energy player who impacts the game on defense and finds creative ways to score.

2025-26

Syd returned to the Legends after a year away.  Syd had 14 assists, 56 rebounds and 16 steals in the spring, contributing in many areas.  She also tipped countless passes on defense and tipped rebounds to teammates.  Syd is closing on on 500 career rebounds and has over 360 career points.  

Prior

Syd “Vicious” Mikesic played 5 years as a Legend, starting in the fall season of 4th grade, and entered the Nittany Valley Hall of Fame. Syd was aggressive from the start, was a tenacious defender, and found ways to score around the basket. Syd worked very hard to become a strong player at both guard and post. Syd led her team in rebounding 3 times and was second 6 times. She led her team in scoring once and was second once. She led her team in steals once and was second twice, and led her team in blocked shots once. She was on second place tournament teams in 4th grade (twice), 7th grade and 8th grade. She was on a championship tournament team once and an undefeated league championship team. She finished her career with 412 rebounds, 200 steals (5th all-time) and 330 points.

2023-24

Syd missed several games for school sports but still had a strong fall season.  She led the team in rebounds in the White Rose Tournament averaging 7 per game and was third in steals.  Syd had an impressive spring season in the two tournaments in which she played, including the 2nd place finish in Lewistown and the 3-1 shootout in Scranton.  She had 32 rebounds, 29 steals and 35 points.  She was double digits in all three categories in both tournaments. 

2022-23

Syd had a strong season finishing second on her team in rebounds with 85 and scoring with 74 points. She had a strong Fall Fest when she finished second on her team in rebounds.  She had her first career three pointer in the White Rose Shootout.  In the Spring she led her team in rebounding in the Scranton Spring Shootout and led her team in scoring in the State College Slam Fest. 

2021-22

Syd finished the season with 151 points, 169 rebounds (2nd on team), 81 steals (2nd on team) and 23 blocked shots.  She led her team in scoring in the Fall Festival Tournament. Syd had 10 points twice, and had 8 points, including 6 huge second half points in the championship game of the Lewistown March Madness tournament victory. She was second on the team in rebounding in the Winter and Spring seasons.

2019-20

Syd led her team in rebounds (91) and defensive rebounds (55) and was tied for second in scoring (53 pts).  She was third on her team in steals (59) and led posts with 6 assists.  Syd shot over 20% from the floor.  She had a strong Lewistown March Madness Tournament leading the team with 19 points including 10 in the semi-final.  Syd showed a good ability to handle the ball making her a threat to drive to the basket making her valuable against the press break and open court.
